Looking for activate, invigorate and promote the work of Masia Castelló Association to recover the abandoned town, the Universitat Rovira i Virgili organizes the Mirades de Futur academic discussion. In this context, Penique productions presents an installation in one of the houses in Castelló, Cal Santo. A light pink inflatable occupies what was the kitchen and living room of the old manor house. The degraded architecture leaves open spaces to expose the balloon rounded shapes while the warm light draws the irregularities of the place. Plastic, stone and dust meet in a unique dialogue.
In a festive event, we celebrate the opportunity of contributing to this beautiful collaborative project where memory, territory and the generous local community come together to think and build new meeting places.
