Installed in Sala B, a venue for emerging artists at the Absolut Art Space gallery, Barcelona, Sala Buit was intended as an internal discussion of interconnecting spaces.
Eight small inflatables sat in equilibrium, all supplied by the same air source. A skeletal infrastructure consisting of only lightweight tubing for each doorway and the extremities of Sala B itself meant that Sala Buit was a true example of air as the structure.
Lighting was piled up at one end of the room to give a fluid transition of colour and texture through the installation.
